Samsung Joins The Price Hike Party
Several companies including Xiaomi, Micromax, and Oppo have hiked the prices of their mid-range offerings in the past couple of months. Popular mid-range handsets such as Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Micromax In Note 1 have already received price hikes. Last week, Oppo hiked the prices of several mid-range handsets including Oppo A53s, Oppo A15s, Oppo A15, and Oppo A11k. Samsung is the latest Android smartphone OEM to join the list, as it has hiked prices of several mid-range Galaxy handsets.
In case you were looking to buy either of the Samsung Galaxy A12, Galaxy M02s, or Galaxy F02s, you will have to spend Rs. 500 more compared to earlier.
To recall, all these smartphones were launched a few months back in the country. All three handsets offer a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 1560×720 pixel resolution, and an Infinity-V notch. The Galaxy A12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor, while the M02s, and F02s are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. All three devices are equipped with 5000mAh battery units that support 15W fast charging.
The Galaxy A12 offers a 48MP quad-rear camera setup including a 5MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro sensor. While the M02s, and F02s offer a 13MP triple-rear camera setup including a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro sensor. The Galaxy A12 has an 8MP selfies shooter, but the F02s, and M02s offer a lesser resolution 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The Galaxy A12 is the only device out of these three to offer a fingerprint sensor.
